Ensamble 7/4 was born out of a friendship of seven young members of El Sistema (the National System of Youth & Children's Orchestras of Venezuela), who came together to extend the boundaries of academic music to include Venezuelan folk music, Latin American music and jazz. 

​

Ensamble 7/4's engaging and entertaining 2-hour show incorporates a unique and unusual format of 4 trumpets, double bass, Venezuelan cuatro and percussion with virtuous arrangements and choreographies specially and uniquely fashioned for them with a touch of humor thrown in for fun. They also offer great educational outreach programs for middle school through college age students.

Three shows to offer: A holiday show, Welcome to America and a Latin tour of music.

OUTREACH: Please inquire about extensive work with middle school or high school bands and the chance to perform a piece with Ensamble 7/4 during the concert. All players of Ensamble 7/4 are music teachers!
